These elections will determine whether Armenia remains an Armenian state

In his speech at the party congress, Edmon Marukyan, the chairman of the Bright Armenia Party, presents the party's strategy for the upcoming parliamentary elections on June 7. He emphasizes that these elections are not a typical struggle over programs or a race between prime ministerial candidates, but will instead resolve the issue of preserving the essence and identity of the Armenian state.

Marukyan specifically addresses the attacks being carried out against the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church, qualifying them as a blow to the backbone of statehood. As a solution to overcome the created chaos and establish balance in the country, he reaffirms Bright Armenia's proposal to see a representative of the clergy in the office of the President of the Republic—specifically Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan—who, through his authority, would be able to restrain political shocks.

At the end of the speech, the party leader announces that they will conduct a non-traditional campaign using new technologies and rejecting methods of empty promises and populism, so that every citizen understands the importance of their vote in shaping the future parliament.
