Pashinyan proclaimed the Fourth Republic, but let’s pause and recall what that proclamation actually brought—nothing but loss and destruction. Remember, he declared “Artsakh is Armenia, and that’s it…” and everyone applauded while standing… just as they are now applauding at the KP conference.

Now he proclaims the end of the Third Republic, claiming we already live in the Fourth Republic… Clearly, he wants to be seen as a founding father. But let’s be honest—what kind of founding father can he or his associates be?

With the same rhetoric, over the past seven years, the following have been proclaimed:

• “Artsakh is Armenia, and that’s it.”

• “We will not yield an inch…”

• “The people of Artsakh have the right to live on their native land…”

• “We will not back down before the enemy…”

• “Let’s agree that, whatever happens, we will not consider ourselves defeated…”

• “We will not surrender the corridor; it is a red line…”

• “We will proclaim the Fourth Republic…” — and so it continues.

You cannot pour new wine into old wineskins, yet you yourselves are not new wine. You are not even old wine; you are something else entirely, failing and ruined, stuck in broken old wineskins…
