People write to me saying they are afraid to share your videos, but they will vote for you
In this episode of the "Right to Speech" program, Edmon Marukyan opens the political brackets, clarifying that everything will not end with the upcoming elections; on the contrary, a crucial stage of political realignment is just beginning.
He addresses in detail why Bright Armenia decided to participate in this process and why he is confident that their voters' voices will not be wasted, as people will be making a conscious choice. Edmon Marukyan also recalls the times when they were the first to propose the idea of forming a single united opposition pole, which at the time did not receive proper approval from other players in the political field. Today, the situation has changed, and Archbishop Mikayel's candidacy is presented as a clear alternative and leading force for the position of a unified presidential candidate.
During the conversation, a key advantage is emphasized: the experience of working and interacting with the current authorities has not weakened us but has made us stronger, as we know from the inside and through practice how this system actually works and what its flaws are. Alongside this, a central theme is the idea that political struggle cannot be effective without a foundation of values: we have no right to renounce our past, our culture, and the identity that has preserved us as a nation. This is a conversation not only about elections but about the preservation of statehood and a clear vision for the future.
