City Management Thrown Under the Bus: Yerevan Amidst Transport Chaos

In Yerevan, the transport system is in a paralyzed state, and every citizen trying to reach their destination by bus feels it daily. The problem is that payment monitoring is left to the drivers, which causes real chaos at bus stops. Buses stand for minutes, creating artificial queues and massive traffic jams that frustrate both passengers and drivers, provoking senseless clashes and arguments.

The Municipality's harsh instructions—to stop the transport or remove those who do not pay—only worsen the situation. People simply cannot physically approach the payment devices due to overcrowding, yet they are expected to behave in a "civilized" manner when the transport itself is not dignified.

Beyond transport, the city today is flooded with destroyed streets, dust, and irregular construction, which have created a real communal and environmental crisis. Instead of finding real solutions, the authorities are busy distributing bonuses and shifting the blame onto citizens. This is a lack of management, and the only way to end it is through elections and our conscious vote.
