Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated from the UN podium:

'One of the important results of the Washington Summit is the 'Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity' (TRIPP), which will ensure unimpeded passage through the Zangezur corridor and strengthen regional ties.'

Aliyev does not acknowledge that the territory through which this corridor should pass belongs to the Republic of Armenia.

Since this is essentially a corridor that will not be under Armenian control - following a logic similar to the Lachin corridor - Aliyev likely believes that de jure this territory belongs to Armenia, but de facto our state will be unable to implement any control mechanisms there.

In his speech, Aliyev did not even note that the connection between Azerbaijan and Nakhijevan will run through the territory of Armenia via this 'corridor.'

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, Pashinyan explained to partners that Aliyev was using incorrect terminology, justifying that they supposedly hadn't agreed to that.

Now Aliyev says that TRIPP runs through the Zangezur corridor. Why are you silent?..

On the night of August 8, I clearly stated: Armenia handed over this corridor to Azerbaijan - and every day this is confirmed by new direct and indirect facts.
