“No extraterritorial corridor will exist, the matter is closed,” Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan stated with a serious expression.

“What is the problem with the word ‘corridor’? Until now, Azerbaijan, when saying ‘corridor,’ meant an extraterritorial corridor, whereas President Trump, when saying ‘corridor,’ does not imply an extraterritorial corridor. A document—a declaration—was signed that excludes the possibility of an extraterritorial corridor,” Rubinyan emphasized.

At the time, when Armenian authorities stated that they opposed the “corridor logic,” Russian and Azerbaijani officials responded that the agreements reached posed no problems regarding sovereignty or territorial integrity.

Azerbaijan’s position was that there should be a corridor on the territory of recognized Armenia, but without Armenian control over that passage, and that those crossing the corridor would have no interaction with Armenian services or border guards.

Now, if we carefully read the text of the Declaration signed in Washington between Armenia and Azerbaijan, witnessed by the United States, we see that the Armenian side fully accepted Azerbaijan’s demand. To justify this, government representatives proudly try to convince us that earlier Armenia was allegedly asked for an extraterritorial corridor, but our skillful authorities supposedly fought and prevented it.

This is another lie presented to our people by the authorities.

In Washington, the government gave away everything Aliyev demanded—only now without Artsakh, without the Lachin corridor, and completely without any control. All of this was done with cold calculation, for nothing, with the sole purpose of trying to get reelected in 2026.

There will be no corridor, and you will not be reelected!
