Why did Aliyev and Pashinyan decide to nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize?

The backbone of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been Artsakh. In 2020, part of it was seized through war, and in 2023 the rest through ethnic cleansing.

What I mean is that Aliyev took away the very object of hostility, while Pashinyan “peacefully” accepted it. Therefore, I believe that if such an outcome of the conflict is deemed worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize, then Pashinyan should have nominated Aliyev for his actions in 2020 and 2023, and Aliyev should have nominated Pashinyan for “peacefully” accepting that outcome.
